ADVANCE CERTIFICATE IN NETWORK ADMINISTRATION

CISCO CERTIFIED NETWORK ASSOCIATE (CCNA)

The GIMPA Advanced Certificate in Network Administration is designed to enable individuals that are new to networking technologies to understand the terms, concepts, technologies, and devices commonly used in networking, and then apply that new knowledge to the installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of Cisco switches and routers.

Participants will be introduced to the networking principles and protocols encountered when supporting corporate internetworks. In addition, this series will help learners to understand terms, concepts, technologies, and devices commonly used in networking.

The Cisco Certified Network Administrator (CCNA) curriculum covers all the basic principles of networking. CCNA certified professionals can install, configure, and operate LAN, WAN, and dial access services for small to medium size networks (100 nodes or fewer), including but not limited to use of these protocols: IP, EIGRP, Serial, Frame Relay, IP RIP, VLANs, RIP, Ethernet, Access Lists.

Prerequisite:

An excellent demonstration of basic computer proficiency experience through an Interview; GIMPA Computer Network & Administration Basics; GIMPA Certificate in Computer Literacy Technology Fundamentals (CLTF), A+, Network+ or Server+ certifications or equivalent.

Anyone seeking to develop specialized IT skills in networking and general network administration can attend this course. Also, existing Network Administrators, System Administrators, IT professionals and Technicians.

Tuition Fee: GH¢850

Typical Outcome:

a. Obtain an Advance Certificate in Network Administration

b. Become a Cisco Certified Network Administrator (CCNA) by sitting and passing the relevant certification exams.

Authorized Prometric or VUE Testing Centre. The international examination fees is GH¢360.00
